Our keynote speaker will be Rev. William L. Lee who has served as pastor of the Loudon Avenue Christian Church in Roanoke, Virginia since 1977. Rev. Lee is a graduate of Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina and has taught homiletics and theology at Duke during the 1998-1999 school year. Rev. Lee serves as an instructor in the religion department at Roanoke College and has been involved in numerous community service projects in the Roanoke area including BB&T Bank Chairman Advisory Board, Board Chair of Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare, Board Chair of Kuumba Community Health and Wellness Center, Good Samaritan Hospice Board of Directors, Carilion Health System Parish Nursing Board of Directors and the Roaonke Neighborhood Partnership. We are pleased to have Rev. Lee as our guest speaker this year.
