Special Camp for Special People July 5-10, 2009

NOTE: Different registration form. Limit 45 campers age 14 to adult.

Special Camp is a Christian camping experience for young adults and adults who are mentally and developmentally challenged. Special Camp is a fun-filled week of Bible lessons, singing, crafts, and family group activities. Each weekday we have a morning keynote followed by crafts and family time. In the afternoon we have swim time, canteen, and an afternoon activity. In the evenings we have a total camp activity including carnival night, a birthday party, the
annual Talent Show, and a dance. The end of the week slide show on Friday morning is the perfect end to a great week! Our staff consists of Counselors-in-Training (youth age 12-17), Counselors (age 18 and older), Coordinators (age 21 and older), crafts persons, music leader, Keynote/Chaplain, and Nurses (certified EMT, LPN, RN, MD,or OD).
